RAFUSH
Rafush is a Brazilian DJ and curator based in Berlin.
Since 2025, Rafush has brought their sets to festivals and club spaces such as Nyege Nyege (Uganda), Atonal (Berlin), Waking Life (Portugal), Fusion Festival (DE), CONTRA at Kraftwerk (Berlin), Tresor/OHM (Berlin), Keep Hush, and Badsista & Friends (São Paulo), among others, alongside a residency on Mutant Radio.
Rafush’s sound isn’t a genre; it’s an argument for multiplicity, a heartbeat that refuses reduction, a protest disguised as rhythm. Their sets move like quicksilver—veering from sun-drenched percussion to nocturnal noise and bass, from the Afrofuturist underground to the electronic ether. Rafush toys with genre the way wind toys with smoke—each transition a defiance, each beat a retelling.
Offstage, Rafush builds worlds—co-founding Ouch, an event series for the fluid, where grooves unlearn binaries and joy becomes radical practice. Via global club music that stretches beyond the usual house and techno framework, Ouch brings a fresh sound to Berlin‘s nightlife landscape. At its core is a belief in plurality: making room for different identities, backgrounds, and perspectives, while actively pushing back against the power structures that too often shape club culture, and centring music that sits outside the mainstream.
