Katiusha
Berlin-based Katiusha is known for building hi-energy, intricate stories on the dance floor. With a background in experimental radio and non-profit parties, her taste has always extended far and wide. When it comes to her club selections however, she draws heavily on her key ingredients of atmospheric rollers, leftfield techno, and UK impact.
Her sound has already caught the attention of of revered venues like UNFOLD, Tresor, and Berghain’s SÄULE, plus playing on air for various key radio stations and broadcast channels: including Boiler Room, Rinse FM, and Moxie’s seminal NTS show.
Katiusha made her production debut last year, entering strongly with releases on Peach Discs and Idle Hands. In 2024 we’ve heard Katiusha lean more heavily into a trippy bass-focused sound, releasing on dubstep imprint SPLOT and her label GRACE, which she founded this year as a “new project for hazy club sonics, with a DIY ethos and producer equity at its core.”
