Kassian
Since starting their project in 2019 Kassian have been gathering more and more momentum, releasing records on Heist, Phonica Records and Shall Not Fade and evolving their sound from groove-laden House towards more leftfield threads of Techno and UK Bass. Their own imprint – Faux Poly – launched early in 2022 and hosts three of their own releases all receiving major support by from the likes of Ben UFO, Four Tet, Floating Points, Daphni, Tom Ravenscroft (BBC R6), Emerald (Rinse), Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC R6), George Fitzgerald, DJ Seinfeld and more.
This year Kassian released their EP ‘Phase Two’ with the esteemed !K7 Records and are cooking up another two EPs – one for !K7 and another for Faux Poly. Kassian have been busy working the DJ circuit too with gigs at Panorama Bar, HÖR, A.D.E. and Watergate, as well as regular gigs in their hometown, London. Their label parties have all sold out, with the most recent one taking place at the Pickle Factory in collaboration with Origins. The impressive duo have delighted crowds at festivals like Love International, Kala festival and Madruga and if all of that wasn’t enough, Kassian have also landed a weekly residency at the legendary London community radio Rinse FM!
