Ila Brugal
Ila Brugal has built a loyal following over the last decade with her signature mix of bass heavy percussive cuts, DJing regularly across the UK and Europe, holding down monthly radio residencies for over 7 years and, more recently, establishing herself as a producer and owner of her new label, Amygdala.
She currently hosts a monthly radio show on London’s iconic Rinse FM showcasing fresh and unreleased material from up and coming producers, and has previously held down a residency and at London’s Fabric. She has also curated events for Boiler Room and Keep Hush and played for leading events and labels such as DEEP MEDi, Outlook Festival, 1985, Swamp81 and TW/TW LDN.
As a producer, she recently released her debut two tracker, ‘Airstrike/TEN’, on her Amygdala label, and her track, ‘Cynical’, was featured on Ivy Lab’s recent ‘TW/TW Vol III’ Various Artists compilation, as well as her track ‘Vienna Blend’ featured on Earful of Wavs Vol. 3. All projects have received radio play on BBC Radio One, 1Xtra, Rinse FM and more.
