Ila Brugal
Over the past decade, Ila Brugal has built a loyal following through her signature blend of bass-heavy, percussive club music. A regular fixture across the UK and European underground circuit, she continues to evolve her sound as both a producer and founder of her Amygdala label.
Previously a resident at Rinse FM and Fabric London, Ila has performed at renowned venues and events including Roundhouse London, E1, Boomtown Festival and alongside leading platforms and labels such as DEEP MEDi, 1985, Swamp81, and TW/TW LDN.
As a producer, Ila’s catalogue continues to expand. Following her debut two-trackerAirstrike/TEN on Amygdala, she has released music on Martyn’s 3024, Dublin’s Woozy, and Earful of Wax, alongside a collaborative EP with Jon1st. Her productions have received widespread support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Rinse FM, and beyond. Alongside her club-focused productions, Ila is continuing to develop her artistic range by incorporating live instrumentation and her own vocals into her work, pushing her sound into new and more personal territory. In recent months, Ila has released new material on SPEC’s Dub Stick and contributed to Osmura’s Transient Glow compilation, with a series of forthcoming projects lined up across multiple labels over the coming months.
